Massive Wave Hits A Lighthouse
The sturdiness of a lighthouse off the coast of France called the Phares dans la Tempete, la Jument was tested back in 1989. Surrounded by a gigantic wave, the tower stood strong as it protected its occupants. One of them was Theodore Malgorne who served as a lighthouse keeper. Malgorne managed to appear calm as he waited for rescue. Fortunately, help arrived in time so the team survived the wall of water. The fascinating photo was taken by Jean Guichard.
