Modern-day airplanes boast of features that are basically the stuff of dreams for passengers. In the past, travelers had to settle with overhead cradles for their babies. Yup, this was a normal sight on planes back in the 1950s. The airline industry obviously had different flying rules in the past. It probably scratched the existence of “sky cots” since the overhead luggage and turbulence had the tendency to cause certain issues. Not to mention, the air pocket also brought about unnecessary stress.
