Although portrayed in Renaissance art as a white, blond haired, blue eyed man, the reality is Jesus was from Israel. So, it’s highly probable he looked like a typical Israelite. In 2001 Forensic artist, Richard Neave constructed the image above from skulls found in Israel at that time but did not claim it was Jesus’s face. He asserted that it was simply meant to nudge people to recognize Jesus as being a man of his time and place.
