The Past Lovers Attempted to Meet Up
Years after they both settled down in the America, Mr. Wisnia heard from a fellow Auschwitz survivor that Ms. Spitzer was still alive and living in New York. Their mutual friend set up a meeting between the two, and Wisnia drove two hours from his home in Philadelphia to New York to meet his former love. When he arrived, he waited two hours in a hotel lobby for Dr. Tichauer however, she never showed up.
