Unfortunately for one plant, the recorded statements echoing around its protective enclosure were far from uplifting. All day long, statements like “You’re a mistake, are you really even alive?” “You’re not even real” and “You look rotten” sounded on loop to the plant that soon showed visible, physical effects from the constant abuse.
