The Pyramid Scheme
One time, a man called my line to ask for $3000 to “help” others out. In their gratitude, he was hoping they’d send him money in return. So I told him that we don’t give out loans to start pyramid schemes. He said it’s not a pyramid scheme unless we used that name and that would be illegal. He preferred seeing it as him helping people and them helping him back.
