Going to a Garage Sale to Find a Treasure?
Other lucky buyers had a lot more fortune than the current owner of this antique Georgian box. Take for instance Claire Wiegan-Beckmann that showed up at Antiques Roadshow with an old card table from the 1960s. She paid for it $25 at a garage sale. On the set of the appraisal show, the woman nearly fainted when she learned that her table was from the 1700s and it was actually worth $541,500!
