In the 1980s, a diver off the coast of Japan’s Yonaguni island found a huge rectangular formation with a human face carved into it. Scientist Masaaki Kimura deduced the structure was built around 10,000 years BC before an earthquake sunk it, but some believe humans didn’t build it.
