The Mahabalipuram Pagodas Were Swallowed By The Sea
The Mahabalipuram people of India claimed that six of seven pagodas were swallowed by the sea by jealous Gods. During the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, the water receded and unearthed the other pagodas, giving credibility to the legend of the pagodas.
