Ancient Israeli Village Went All Pompei
Located in Atlit, Israel, this village from the Neolithic era, known as Atlit Yam was found to have been built with dry-stone walling. Several artifacts made from animal bones, and rectangle houses were also found. The village was apparently abandoned after a tsunami caused by volcanic eruption enveloped the entire village.
