CEO of Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos, sent an expedition to recover the engines that propelled the Apollo 11 rocket into space on July 16, 1969. When the rocket separated from the Saturn V module, it crashed into the sea and was presumed lost, but in March 2013, Bezo’s team recovered the components.
