A lost treasure of $50 million in gold bars, dust, and 3,100 gold coins were found by Bob Evans. “This is a whole new season of discovery,” he told the Associated Press. Evans, who’s a scientist, diligently removed the rust that had accumulated on the gold after it sank off the coast of South Carolina aboard the S.S. Central America during a hurricane in 1857.
