In the 1930s, the SS President College was turned into a troop carrier at the Pearl Harbor bombing. But it sank off the Vanuatu coast when it hit underwater mines. The ship, alongside its chandeliers, mosaic tiles, and other military treasures remain at the bottom of the sea.
