Splinter Removal
Vicks VapoRub can also be used when removing a splinter and is especially helpful for kids. Just rub a small amount on top of the area and then proceed to remove as usual with a pair of tweezers, it will help cool and ease the pain you feel when it pinches the nerve endings on your skin and hopefully distract the kids too.
