Maritza’s ghost story that she posted on Friday reached 71,000 likes and 301,000 shares on Facebook by Tuesday morning. She later explained in her post, “It turns out my husband just forgot to put the mattress protector on when he changed the sheets,” Maritza said, “I see this big, giant baby sticker, just looking up at me. I was amused, but I was so embarrassed.”
