McKayla has since retired from the gymnastics world, but she popped back in the news recently claiming her team doctor had acted inappropriate towards her. According to her Twitter, she’s now making music as well. But McKayla had some bad news to share on Twitter recently. Sadly, her father passed away in 2019. She tweeted, “Love u dad. I can’t believe it’s real. I don’t want to. I’ll miss you forever. Rest in peace. You were the most incredible dad”.
