The Spiritual Awakening
I worked at this super busy restaurant when I was in college. One night, our overwhelmed kitchen manager ripped his apron off and walked out. A few months later, he walked in to speak to the owner and manager and said he completely blacked out and didn’t remember a thing. He said he woke up on a park bench the next day, where he experienced a spiritual awakening, but he needed a month to really miss the job. He wasn’t rehired.
