He Was So Persistent
I had someone take issue with me (thankfully over the phone) over why I was no longer with my previous employer. I had signed a legal agreement to not discuss the incident with my previous employer in exchange for a decent amount of severance money. Basically, ‘here’s some money if you won’t sue us or talk ****.’ I was simply trying to honor that agreement, but this douchebag would not stop pressing me for details. I ended up hanging up on the guy.
