It Was Pretty Bad…
I was applying for a position at a university. I didn’t realize it was a Jesuit university. I am not Catholic or religious. It was a phone interview, and during it, they asked me, “Why a Jesuit school?” I blanked. I was blind-sided by this question. So I just made something up, “I like your morals.” Or something along those lines. I did not get a second interview.
