Most residents don’t like the scooters for the simple fact that they block sidewalks, and cause people to trip on them and hurt themselves. Also, scooter drivers tend to zip in and out of traffic without obeying traffic rules either. But the arrival of these nifty little electric scooters is also proof that the tech industry just does what they please without asking for the locals’ take on their new transportation device. Now, they’re the ones who are dealing with the consequences.
