Where else can micro-inspiration come from? For designers Aldo Cibic, Tommaso Corà, and Marco Tortoioli Ricci, it came from an unlikely source: Prison. Their prototypical 96-square-foot micro-apartment, ironically called the Freedom Room, was inspired in part by Italian prisoners who received training in design and woodwork while under arrest.
