How to respond to a delay in the postal service? Why not insult the customer’s mom? This is the strategy preferred by Royal Mail, apparently, who in response to a question about missing Valentine’s cards, tweeted “when exactly did your mum post them & what service was used??” It’s the double question mark that really bothers me.
