Walgreens announced in late August 2019 to shut down 200 United States Locations just below a multiple-year costing/cutting result. This Group of shutdowns is in addition to the 750 stores the pharmacy chain earlier confirmed. It was founded on December 29, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Walgreens has said all their stores should be shut down by this year. The chain has been taking a major portion of cutting back. The organization declared in the late spring of 2019 that it would close down around 200 of its U.S. stores, and that work is as yet going on
