JCPenney

JCPenney originally planned to close six store locations by the end of April. The Shutdowns were planned for South Carolina, North Carolina, Montana, Oklahoma, Ohio, and New York. However, in May, the company notified ideas for an outstandingly unreasonable number of shutdowns. The chain is now calmed to close around 200 stores permanently through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy revamping plan, leaving about 600 store locations.
