Giants of Mont’e Prama in Sardinia, Italy
Located in the commune of Cabras, these figures are eight feet tall and all have mysterious disc shaped eyes. Although the significance of these statues isn’t known, they were placed outside of prominent ancient tombs leading researchers to think that they were intended to protect the dead.
