11. Filming On the Moon
Command Module pilot Richard Gordon, Jr. remained in the Command Module while Pete Conrad and Alan Bean were on the moon. After Bean televised a few moments with the camera, he pointed it at the sun and it was destroyed. Some of the films filled with photos were also left on the moon. I guess they were too excited to walk on the moon!
The completed 45 lunar orbits before traveling back to Earth and successfully landing!
