10. Apollo 13
The Apollo 13 mission would make history, and not for the right reasons. Nonetheless, it was the perfect plot for a book and a movie! Yes, Apollo 13 was the aborted mission that only included an orbit around the Moon after an oxygen tank in the service module (SM) exploded when the crew was already in space!
The mission started on Apr 11 and ended on Apr 17 1970.
