7. Moon Trees
Another fun fact about Apollo 14 is that when Shepard and Mitchell were on their moonwalks, Roosa performed scientific experiments and photographed the Moon. He also took care of some seeds he took with him on his expedition which germinated as the crew returned to Earth. The plants resulted from the seeds were called “Moon Trees”!
