16. Apollo 10
Also known as the “Dress Rehearsal for Landing on the Moon,” Apollo 10 went to the moon, orbited it once and dropped the LM to 8.4 nautical miles (15.6 km) from the moon’s surface. Then, the crew returned back home.
Apollo 10 took place during May 18 – May 26 1969 and set some amazing records!
