The Brazen Banker
I worked for a window cleaning company and one day, I got to wash the windows at a local bank. Usually, I would lightly hit the window so that the person on the other side could know that I was there. I hit this banker’s window from the outside and I found it weird that he hadn’t turned around. When I start doing my job, his window and I realize why. He is intently watching a very niche film in his office. I was surprised by his brazenness to do so in the middle of the workday on his work computer. When I realize that he could still turn around and see me, I tried to finish quickly and quietly as possible. All of a sudden, my squeegee betrays me and LOUDLY hops across the glass. The man shot up so fast and he didn’t know what to open on his computer. A blank Excel workbook. Yahoo news. Outlook. He never turned around to acknowledge the window cleaner who caught him.
