Dilation Check
I’m not the window cleaner, but one of several people on the other side of the window. My wife was in labor for approximately 24 hours when her doctor came in to check how dilated she was. He was approximately fairly far along in the process when we hear a slap on the window that startled everyone in the room. Although we were not sure how much he had seen, he gave everyone in the room a much-needed laugh.
