The Terrier Named Pumpkin
This one is kinda sad. My uncle has been a window washer for years and he started at a new apartment building. There was an older lady with a puppy who he built a friendship with. He went up to her window for almost and year and they would speak through a small window until one day he went up and there was no lady, just the dog. It turned out that she had died peacefully and because she had no close relatives, he was given the opportunity to adopt the dog. Ten years later, he still has the little terrier he named Pumpkin.
