Not only was the psychologist lucky enough to have a guinea pig for his experiment where the parents were willing to raise their son as a girl; Money was also provided with a control group to compare Bruce with— his identical twin brother, Brian. For Dr. Money, this would be the ideal experiment in order to prove his theory that gender is a social construct.
