Gisele and Patricia Bundchen
Gisele Bundchen is renowned for being the world’s highest paid model and what many people don’t know is that she has a twin sister which looks really similar to her. Gisele Bundchen is very close to her fraternal twin sister. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Patricia said some great things about her twin:
“Her willpower made her successful. She has never let the critics put her down, and this has never changed. She has the most amazing body, but what has really made her successful is her personality, her way of doing things, her professionalism.”
Nonetheless, before becoming famous, Gisele was not as popular as her sister! That’s because the model was too tall and was constantly bullied. “Even before I got into the business, I was used to being bullied because I was always tall and skinny and stuck out,” Gisele recalled in an interview with the New York Times, and in another interview, she said teens always made fun of her:
“I was 5’11” at 14. It wasn’t fun… Like everybody made fun of me. Every time I go in the slow dance, like nobody wanted to dance with me. Seriously, I was this much taller than everyone in my class.”
Meanwhile, Patricia had a ton of friends because she didn’t stand out as much as her twin. Nonetheless, they’ve remained strong and united over the years and now Patricia is Gisele’s spokesperson and her best friend!
