When Lightning Strikes Water

This is what happens when lightning strikes the water. While it sure is a beautiful photo, electricity and water don’t go well together. Lighting and ocean are a deadly combination, and according to the US National Weather Service, there are 30,000 amps and 300 million volts in the average lighting strike. This is more than enough to kill a human being. If an electrical storm happens while we’re in the sea, it’s best to dive deeper or find shelter as soon as possible.
