Volcano Eruption in Chile

Luckily, there aren’t any residential areas near Chile’s Calbuco Volcano. Still, more than a thousand people had to be evacuated in April of 2015 when it erupted three times. The Calbuco Volcano stands 2,015 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a National reserve. Its last activity before April 2015 was in 1972. In total, Calbuco had 36 eruptions, with the last one five years ago.
