The Ariau Amazon Towers actually closed at the beginning of 2016, on account of high operating costs and a loss of tourism. But in its heyday, guests could navigate the Amazon and interact with wildlife up close and personal. It was also featured in the 1997 masterpiece Anaconda, and if it was good enough for J-Lo, it’s good enough for us.
