Earle Nelson

Earle Nelson killed over 22 people across America between 1926 and 1927. His victims were often landladies. He pretended he wanted to rent a room in their home. Then he would assault and kill them. He was known as the “Dark Strangler” before he was arrested on June 1927 in Canada.
Elizabeth Bathory

Between 1585 and 1609, Elizabeth Bathory allegedly tortured and killed children and young women with the help of four accomplices. The precise number of victims is unknown. But the Hungarian noblewoman’s reign ended when her guardian György Thurzó arrested her after finding two of her victims.
