Between 1918 and 1924, Fritz Haarmann, aka “The Butcher of Hanover,” mutilated, murdered, and dismembered about 24 boys in Germany. He was arrested by undercover cops while he argued with Karl Fromm, (a teen he had assaulted earlier) at a train station. It is believed he even bit right through some of his victims’ necks.
