From the year 1907 to 1916, sixty residents died at a nursing home in Windsor, Connecticut, at the hands of prolific murderer, Amy Archer-Gilligan. An investigation determined she had killed them using strychnine and arsenic. She was sentenced to life in prison in 1917 but eventually went to a mental hospital.
