Peacock chairs were not just limited to portraits, they made their way onto the big screen. You can see it in the classic Warner Brothers film “My Fair Lady.” Cecil Beaton, the costume and scenic designer on the film, loved wicker furniture. He even took the infamous photo of Marilyn Monroe in the peacock chair.
