The impact of Huey’s Black Panther photo is still seen today. In 2017, Kamaiyah released the album cover for “Don’t Ever Get It Twisted.” The inspiration was undeniable. When the Disney/Marvel film, “Black Panther” was released, many felt that the photo of T’Challa sitting on the Wakandan throne, was referencing the infamous Huey photo.
