Rani of Jhansi was a badass warrior who broke the boundaries that women were locked into when she became one of the leading figures in the Rebellion against British rule in India in 1857. Rani recruited both women and men for her army and is remembered today as fighting the war on a horse with her infant son tied to her back and a sword in each hand! Yas Queen!
