Zenobia
Known as the “Warrior Queen” and portrayed in art as bold and brave, Zenobia slayed during her term as ruler of modern day Syria. After the murder of her husband and son, she assumed the throne in the 3rd century, conquering Egypt and threatening the Roman Empire during her reign. The boisterous leader is famed for solely creating an empire independent of Rome.
