St. Marina
In the 8th century, Marina tricked a monastery into thinking she was a boy using the name Marinus, so that she could become a monk. Years later while traveling, Marina was falsely accused of impregnating an innkeeper’s daughter. Instead of revealing the truth, Marina raised the child herself after being kicked out of the monastery. Her true identity remained a secret until her death and she was later canonized by the Catholic Church.
