Some Bands Didn’t Show Up
Two bands were unable to make it to their scheduled Woodstock performance. Weeks before the festival, The Jeff Beck Group had broken up. And Iron Butterfly found themselves stranded at the airport. When their manager demanded that they have special transportation pick them up, they were wired back and told that was not an option.
