Violence On Stage
There was a moment between guitarist Pete Townshend from The Who and political activist Abbie Hoffman. Pete was already not in a good mood that day. Abbie, who had taken LSD, got on stage while The Who was in the middle of their set. He grabbed the mic and started ranting about political injustices, which lead to Pete hitting Abbie with his guitar.
