Peasant skirts were what happened when we wanted to embrace the hippie fashion vibe but weren’t fully ready to commit to it. So instead we wound up with something that was halfway between “San Francisco commune in the ‘60s” and “shipwrecked on a desert island.” Not going to lie, they did look pretty cute when paired with a tube top.
