Apple’s Worst Products and Design Fails of All Time

iPod Hi-Fi

Apple

In 2006, Apple attempted its own iPod speaker product known as the Hi-Fi, but it ultimately couldn’t compete with better designed third-party units. The $350 price was too high, the speaker lacked a built-in radio, and connected iPods were left standing in a precarious position connected to the 30-pin dock on top of the system (that is, if your iPod model was even compatible with the 30-pin). Apple was forced to admit defeat and cancel production after only a year and a half.
