Mighty Mouse
The 2005 Apple Mighty Mouse faced all kinds of problems, from naming disputes with the cartoon character and another producer of computer peripherals, to a finicky click sensor that forced you to lift your left finger to be able to right-click, to a scroll ball that easily clogged with dirt and made the mouse unusable. Despite its shortcomings, it took Apple four more years to release a follow-up, the simplified and much-improved Magic Mouse.
